About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Product and Client Service Team at CC&L Funds. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and support to our sales team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service a client base of leading Canadian investment dealers and Investment Advisors by gaining familiarity with CC&L Funds' business and platform of investment products and services.
  • Support the CC&L Funds sales team by responding to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner, with support from internal operational and data teams.
  • Work with internal and external support teams to address ongoing operational issues and client inquiries.
  • Act as a liaison between the CC&L Funds sales team and the Marketing group to customize presentation materials.
  • Contribute to improving and streamlining the service model and operational procedures.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and special assignments as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, and/or Economics.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in partnership with other team members, combined with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Good judgment coupled with the ability to set clear expectations and make sound decisions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to multi-task and work autonomously.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Understanding of client service and Canadian funds/managed product industry or equivalent experience is an asset.
