Job Summary:

Bruce Chrysler is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automotive Service Professional to join our Service/Fixed Operations team. As an Apprentice Technician, you will be at the heart of our mission to provide outstanding vehicle repairs and services while maintaining efficiency and affordability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems in a variety of vehicles
  • Conduct several types of services and repairs on customer vehicles according to established procedures and manufacturers' requirements
  • Effectively use hand tools, power tools, and other specialized automotive repair equipment
  • Clock on and off on the work order for each individual service and repair case
  • Document all information resulting from tests and repairs conducted on vehicles, including required parts and labor
  • Constantly communicate with service consultants and/or customers for repair progress, additional work, wait times, missing parts, etc.
  • Comply with H&S responsibilities, including safe work procedures and reporting all work-related injuries
  • Comebacks will be the responsibility of the technician
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians and advisors to ensure timely and efficient repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times

Requirements:

  • 1st, 2nd, 3rd year or Service Station Technician
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Stay up-to-date with models, techniques, and abilities for automotive repairs
  • Ability to handle lifting up to 70 lbs as part of your responsibilities
