About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welder Supervisor to join our team at AM& M RIAR LTD. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our welding department and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise a team of 5-10 welders and ensure they have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties effectively.
    • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
  • Quality Control
    • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all products meet the required standards.
    • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Materials Management
    • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
    • Ensure that all materials are properly stored and maintained.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that the workplace is safe and clean.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Certifications
    • Machinist Trade Certification.
    • Tool and Die Maker Trade Certification.
    • Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate.
  • Skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
