Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder Helper to join our team at 2161424 ALBERTA INC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting our welders in the fabrication of metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Welders in Metal Fabrication
    • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal product surfaces.
    • Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually.
    • Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions.
    • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials.
    • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • Support Production Operations
    • Assist in maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
    • Collaborate with production team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets.
  • Meet Quality and Safety Standards
    • Adhere to company quality and safety policies and procedures.
    • Participate in quality control checks and report any defects or issues to supervisors.
    Requirements
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
    • Permanent employment.
    • English language proficiency.
    • Ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
