Financial Planning Role

We are seeking a skilled Strategic Wealth Manager to join our team at Scotiabank. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and deepen client relationships by providing high-quality advice and service within the mass affluent market.

The ideal candidate will focus on investment sales and new client acquisition, as well as establishing business development opportunities with prospects and clients within the assigned market area.

  • The successful candidate will conduct in-depth reviews for assigned clients including retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning utilizing financial planning skills and tools to support our clients' financial goals.
  • The Strategic Wealth Manager will deliver trusted financial advice to clients regarding their investments and retirement planning, showcasing natural curiosity to uncover and solve for client needs.
  • This role requires a self-directed and performance-oriented approach in discovering client needs, listening to understand what they are looking for, customized financial strategies, and solutions.
  • The ideal candidate will be highly engaged, educating clients, providing relevant insights, and expert advice while demonstrating a collaborative approach when dealing with peers, clients, and partners.
