About the Role:

  • Oversee and manage audits of financial services clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards;
  • Liaise with clients to understand their business needs and objectives, and provide guidance on risk management strategies;
  • Develop and implement effective risk management frameworks to mitigate potential risks and ensure the integrity of financial services operations;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address emerging risks and trends in the financial services sector;
  • Mentor and train junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge in risk management.

Requirements:

  • Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent;
  • 5+ years of experience working with a public practice accounting firm, preferably in a financial services role;
  • Excellent client service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines;
  • Professional certification in risk management or a related field is an asset.
