About the Role
- Manage and develop wedding and event sales to ensure an unforgettable client experience.
- Oversee and direct all activities related to the planning and execution of weddings and special events, including site visits, menu tastings, and other meetings.
- Manage the client journey from booking to execution and post-event follow-up.
- Handle contracts, room blocks, floor plans, BEOs, event pre-planning schedules, forms, and payments with precision and attention to detail.
- Develop strong relationships with clients to encourage referrals and foster a loyal client base.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with event vendors to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Achieve and exceed revenue goals for the designated market through strategic sales and marketing efforts.
- Participate in sales meetings and prepare and present sales reports to stakeholders.
- Work closely with hotel operations to prepare and deliver exceptional events that exceed client expectations.
- Stay informed about industry trends and know the competitive landscape to stay ahead of the curve.
- Plan participation in various trade shows to showcase Corner Collection's expertise and build brand awareness.
- Collaborate with the director of sales to continuously improve service offerings and stay competitive in the market.
