Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Burrito Boyz Oakville Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Hire food service staff and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports, prepare food order summaries for the chef, and supervise and check delivery of food trolleys.

Work Environment: Our food service establishment is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be required to work under pressure and be physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Client focus, flexibility, and team player.

Work Term: Permanent

Work Language: English

Hours: 40 to 44 hours per week
