Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Team Lead to join our team at St. Louis Bar and Grill. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports

Work Environment: The work environment is fast-paced and requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills and be a team player.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Efficient interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral communication
  • Team player

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The work conditions and physical capabilities required for this role include a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

Personal Suitability: The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be a team player, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
