Job Description:

The Contracting Specialist will play a critical role in supporting advisors with contracting requirements and paperwork. This includes compiling and forwarding contracting requirements & paperwork to advisors, assisting advisors with questions and completion of contract paperwork, and providing support for Apexa On-boarding. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining regular communication with advisors throughout the contracting process, forward contract approval/issued code to advisors and Case Manager (as applicable), and work directly with multiple insurance carriers across Canada.

Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary degree or related work experience in insurance/financial services industry
  • Bilingual (French/English) is a strong asset
  • Proven experience in customer service and Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of back office systems (WealthServ, carrier sites, Sentry File, APEXA) is an asset
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, teamwork, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and follow through
  • Organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
