About the Role

Nortech Advanced NDT is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team in Fort St. John. This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support
    • Monitor, review, and complete minor revisions for field reports and invoices on a daily basis
    • Generate and organize timesheets for processing by payroll on a weekly basis
    • Manage book-keeping and filing of receipts and invoices for purchases
  • Office Management
    • Organize meetings and greet visitors, vendors, and clients
    • Answer phones and relay calls and messages
    • Generate and maintain schedules and calendars
  • Document Management
    • Organize, file, and summon documents in the company database
    • Perform general office housekeeping and cleaning
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Interact with suppliers and customers via email, in person, or on the phone
    • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable as required
    • Pick up office supplies and run general errands around town
    Requirements
    • Valid Driver's license required
    • Knowledge of standard Oil and Gas activities and common HSE requirements
    • Knowledge of welding, Oil and Gas construction, and/or non-destructive testing an asset
    • Experience with company databases, filing structure, and naming conventions
    • Proficient with Microsoft products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
    • Proficient with Adobe Acrobat Standard
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to identify problems or potential problems and implement solutions
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic work environment and maintain effective working relations with a diverse workforce
