Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Denny's Fort St John. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our management team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages
  • Answer electronic enquiries
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers
  • Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  • Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Office
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
