Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Buzz Marketing Group. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for administering staff consultation and grievance procedures, planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a fair and respectful work environment.
  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate human resources policies and programs to align with business objectives.
  • Review HR projects to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and establish and implement policies and procedures to maintain a compliant work environment.
  • Research and prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions, and salary scales to ensure accurate compensation and benefits.
  • Administer benefit employment equity and other human resources programs to promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Co-ordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to support employee growth and development.
  • Research employee benefits and health and safety practices, and recommend changes to improve employee well-being.
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Judgement and decision-making skills to resolve complex HR issues and make informed decisions.
  • Organized and efficient interpersonal skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Reliability and values and ethics to maintain confidentiality and integrity in all HR matters.
