About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Upholsterer to join our team at GS Wood Design Ltd. As an Upholsterer, you will be responsible for restoring and reupholstering furniture to its original glory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Training
    • No formal education or certification is required, but a strong understanding of upholstery techniques and materials is essential.
  • Language Skills
    • Fluency in English or French is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Experience
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in upholstery or a related field is required.
  • Financial Benefits

  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees.
    • Assist with immediate settlement needs, such as housing, transportation, and storage.

    • Recruit newcomers and refugees who were displaced by conflict or natural disaster.
    • Support foreign credential recognition and provide diversity and cross-cultural training.
    • No Canadian work experience is required.
  • Work Schedule
    • Occasional employment, with a variable schedule of 20-40 hours per week.
