About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Upholsterer to join our team at ISA International Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality upholstered furniture for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out, cut, fabricate, and install upholstery on a variety of furniture pieces.
  • Tack, glue, or sew ornamental trim, braids, or buttons to enhance the aesthetic appeal of our products.
  • Work with a range of materials, including leather, plastic, wool, nylon, and cotton or synthetic fabrics.
Industry Experience
  • Furniture and fixtures manufacturing company
  • Furniture upholstery and repair shop
  • Specialty seat manufacturing company
Specialization or Experience
  • Seats for stadiums, halls, and other large venues
  • Furniture for residential and commercial clients
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are essential for this role.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and attention to detail are critical.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling is required.
