Senior Technical Writer

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Writer to join our team. As a Senior Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality content that meets the needs of our audience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop audience-centred content that is clear, concise, and complete, adhering to internal and department standards.
  • Manage documentation projects, providing plans, work effort estimates, and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance the employee and client experience.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and subject-matter experts to ensure accurate and complete information.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, delivering large communication projects and leading small to medium-sized projects.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in technical writing.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong understanding of metadata and previous experience with search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Previous experience with HTML or a related language.
Preferred Skills:
  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
  • Previous experience with editing.
  • Previous FI experience.
  • Any technical writing education or certification.
Work Arrangements:

Hybrid work arrangement, with a mix of remote and in-office work.
