About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Content Specialist to join our team at Varicent. As a Technical Content Specialist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality documentation and microcopy to help our customers succeed with our products and features.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain online help content for our customers, business partners, and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with our product teams to ensure that documentation and microcopy are accurate and effective.
  • Adhere to style guide standards when producing documentation and UX copy for all Varicent products.
  • Provide a fresh perspective on our current documentation set, improving on current content as needed.
  • Recommend and implement technologies related to more effective content delivery and communication.
  • Enhance written work with multimedia content and AI tools.
  • Manage time effectively while balancing work across multiple product teams with different deadlines.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience writing product documentation, UX/Microcopy copy, and/or other multi-media help content.
  • A portfolio of work that showcases technical writing skills.
  • Ability to conduct research, interview subject matter experts, and perform other knowledge-gathering tasks.
  • Working knowledge of authoring tools, AI writing and proofreading tools, web development technologies, and in-app help and walkthrough tooling.
  • Ability to collaborate and find new ways to stay efficient.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new things.
