Atlific Hotels and Resorts, a dynamic and diverse hotel management company, is seeking an accomplished Executive Sales Director to lead the sales team for a portfolio of hotels in Vancouver.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and executing strategic sales plans, and leading a high-performing sales team. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of success in the hospitality industry.

We are looking for a results-driven individual with a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Director of Sales or equivalent. The ideal candidate will possess a post-secondary education in Sales or Hospitality and have a solid understanding of the Canadian market. Brand experience is an asset, but not required.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and meet business objectives
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction
  • Maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to inform sales strategies and tactics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, revenue management, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective implementation of sales strategies
  • Manage sales budgets, expenses, and forecasting to ensure accurate financial reporting and optimization of resources
  • Conduct performance appraisals, provide coaching and training, and develop talent within the sales team to drive long-term success
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Director of Sales or equivalent in the hospitality industry
  • Post-secondary education in Sales or Hospitality
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to inspire and motivate high-performing teams
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and meeting business objectives
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry software, including property management systems (PMS) and revenue management systems (RMS)
