At ENGINEERINGUK, we're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our assurance and accounting department, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and make a real impact on their financial success.

About the Role

We're offering a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality accounting services to our clients, including financial statement preparation, audit and review engagements, and taxation services.

You'll also have the opportunity to develop your technical skills in areas such as compilations, reviews, bookkeeping, and tax. Our team is entrepreneurial-minded and always looking for ways to improve our processes and deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  2. Conduct audit and review engagements, ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  3. Provide taxation services, including corporate and individual tax returns.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and goals.
  5. Collaborate with other team members to deliver high-quality services and meet client expectations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Business Administration, with a major in Accounting or Finance.
  • Working towards certification as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or equivalent.
  • Previous accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting firm.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
