Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Roofer and Site Supervisor to join our team at Y International.

Estimated Salary Range:

$70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in roofing, including shingled roofs, conventional and inverted built-up system, modified roofing system, rigid pre-formed roofing system, single ply sheet membrane roofing system, tiled roofs, and skylights. They will also be skilled in supervising other workers, instructing apprentices, and erecting and installing scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A strong background in roofing with a minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Experience working at heights, in noisy, dusty, and dangerous environments
  • Excellent hand-eye co-ordination and ability to handle heavy loads
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, safety harness, and gloves
