Job Description

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, contributing to the financial success and integrity of our organization. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Preparing weekly sales reports and monthly reconciliations.
  2. Completing and assisting in period and year-end procedures.
  3. Preparing pre-numbered inventory pages one week prior to period-end for those departments counting inventory.
  4. Preparing and sending the inventory packages to the departments on the Wednesday prior to period-end.
  5. Ensuring that all numbered inventory pages that were sent out are returned.
  6. Extending inventory pages as necessary as well as keeping the FCL reconciliation up to date.
  7. Assisting location managers with finance questions.
  8. To be familiar with and adhere to Federated Co-operatives Limited policies and procedures.
  9. Performing additional duties as assigned by the manager.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An accounting diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
About the Role

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, with eligibility for benefits after three months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.
