Family Medicine Physician

We are seeking a skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority in Annapolis Royal. As a key member of our primary care team, you will provide comprehensive health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality primary health care services to patients, including routine check-ups, health assessments, and management of chronic conditions.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experience.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and community partners to promote health and well-being.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in educational activities to enhance knowledge and skills, including workshops, conferences, and online courses.
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
- Eligibility for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
- Experience working in a primary care setting, preferably in a rural or underserved area.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
- Proficiency in the use of electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies.
