We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our team at the Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experience
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices to provide evidence-based care
Requirements:
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia
- Certification eligibility with the College of Family Physicians of Canada
- Experience in emergency medicine is an asset
- Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association
