Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our healthcare team in the Government of Northwest Territories. As a Senior Women's Health Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to women in the region.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position with a salary estimated at CAD $250,000 per year, based on the national average salary for Obstetrician-Gynecologists in Canada. The successful candidate will have a strong educational background, including a doctorate degree, and relevant experience in the field.

Responsibilities
  • Providing medical consultations and performing procedures as required
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures related to women's health
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for patients
  • Evaluating patient needs and developing treatment plans
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports
Requirements
  • Degree in Medicine or equivalent
  • Eligibility to practice medicine in Canada
  • Current certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
