About the Role

The successful candidate will serve as the Chief Financial Officer for Strategic Growth, contributing to the company's growth and development beyond the finance function. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication abilities.

The primary responsibilities include managing daily operations of Wurth Canada Accounting, providing strong leadership to a diverse team, fostering professional growth, and demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of tax law.

This position also involves partnering with Sales, Purchasing, Marketing, and Logistics on analysis, forecasting, reporting, and ad-hoc requests. Additionally, the CFO will oversee month-end procedures, including posting and reviewing journal entries, and preparing account reconciliations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and CPA certification
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, with 3+ years in a management role overseeing employees
  • Self-starter with excellent time management skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator with excellent communication skills and ability to build authentic relationships with colleagues
