Equiton Capital Inc. is a leading private equity investments firm seeking an experienced Portfolio Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Property Management department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Team Lead with the monthly legal process relating to the Residential Tenancies Act.

About the Position

This newly-created position requires someone flexible and responsive to a high-growth culture, with the ability to build relationships in a proactive and engaging environment. You will assist the Legal and Collection Administrator with tasks such as gathering documentation, preparing and filing notices, and managing past collection files.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Legal Process: Assist the Team Lead with the monthly legal process, including gathering L1 documentation, preparing and filing N5's, and managing the N8 process.
  • Collection Support: Provide monthly past collection files to third-party collection companies, update internal spreadsheets, and generate monthly reports for the Executive Team.
  • Email Monitoring: Monitor designated emails on a timely basis, including Resident Insurance, PM Temp, and Inquiries.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document City Orders by property/Regional Manager, assist in the preparation of Above Guideline Worksheets, and process Resident Letters once AGI Order has been approved.
  • Other Tasks: Perform other tasks as required to support and enhance the needs of the Department.

Requirements:

  • Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaboration and Customer Service**: Strong collaboration and customer service skills.
  • Organization and Problem-Solving**: Excellent organization, prioritizing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical Skills**: Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; preferred knowledge of Yardi Software.
