Job Summary:
Clinical Social Workers play a vital role in supporting patients and families in navigating complex healthcare systems. As a Senior Clinical Social Worker with Vancouver Coastal Health, you will have the opportunity to work with vulnerable adults and their families, providing consultation, education, mentorship, and clinical guidance within a client and family-centred care model.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited University and have experience working with issues of adult abuse and neglect. They will also be knowledgeable about community resources, research methodologies, and trauma-informed care. Responsibilities:
- Provide consultation, education, mentorship, and clinical guidance to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Develop decision support tools and policies to improve practice and organizational compliance with relevant legislation and VCH policies
- Conduct complex psychosocial assessments, including investigations of alleged abuse, neglect, and self-neglect
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide culturally safe care to Indigenous people, families, and community

Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited University
- Experience working with vulnerable adults and their families
- Knowledge of community resources, research methodologies, and trauma-informed care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is CAD $85,000 - CAD $105,000 per year, depending on experience.
