About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spa Receptionist to join our team at the Four Seasons Hotel Montreal. As a key member of our spa team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting our spa services and products, and ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized and professional service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

  • Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, respecting the Guerlain rituals and traditions.

  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our spa services, products, and benefits, including indications and contraindications.

  • Promote and sell our spa services and products, ensuring maximum sales potential and guest satisfaction.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of guest reservations, cancellations, and changes.

  • Participate in the preparation and implementation of Guerlain rituals and spa treatments, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.

  • Assist guests with spa reservations, cancellations, and changes, providing exceptional customer service and support.

  • Determine desired results and physical characteristics of each guest for their individual treatment, using a questionnaire to ensure accurate and personalized service.

  • Fulfill guest's wants and needs by promoting spa retail products utilized in body treatments and skin care, ensuring at-home continuing care.

  • Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and organization for the Spa, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff.

  • Report all maintenance needs immediately to the maintenance department and inform Spa management to ensure follow-up.

  • Handle all check-ins, billing, and payments as per procedure manual, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Availability to work weekends, days, evenings, and holidays, including flexible scheduling.

  • Ability to communicate fluently in English and French, both orally and in writing.

  • Thorough understanding of every spa service, including benefits, indications, and contraindications.

  • Good resistance to stress and ability to manage it positively and effectively.

  • Excellent presentation and elocution, in French and English, and interpersonal skills to meet the expectations of a high-end clientele.

  • Impeccable grooming, including hair, makeup, and manicured nails.

  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

  • Organized, meticulous, and resourceful, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

  • Demonstrate creativity and initiative, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes.

  • Previous experience and knowledge of spa operations is preferred, with experience as a receptionist in a hotel environment being an advantage.
