Key Responsibilities

Develop a strategic business growth plan for the designated region to cultivate a network of clients and prospects through the following initiatives: Execute a direct outreach strategy for potential clients, stakeholders, and existing customers. Actively participate in industry associations. Acquire referrals from clients and other association members. Identify the requirements of clients and prospects, foresee how their circumstances may change, and propose tailored strategies to meet their needs. Conduct initial risk assessments to ensure that financing arrangements align with the Bank's policies, programs, and procedures. Collaborate with the Underwriter in the credit evaluation process. Ensure compliance with terms and conditions (credit risk management). Maintain a high standard of quality and portfolio performance (profitability and quality). Work closely with other stakeholders within the business unit. Enhance the Bank's visibility in the industry by representing the organization and promoting its image, while also developing and nurturing business relationships with current and prospective clients and influential individuals. Perform all tasks of a similar or general nature as requested by supervisors or required for the role. Required Qualifications University degree in a relevant discipline and five to eight years of experience Strong business development capabilities Collaborative team player Proficient spoken and written communication skills in both French and English* Expertise in financial analysis Strong summarization skills Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of peer and self-directed learning Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic work environment *Professional working proficiency in French and English is essential as the position involves frequent written and oral communication on complex matters with internal and external parties in both languages.
