Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Wok Box. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on food sales, inventory, and other relevant data.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef and maintain accurate records of work schedules.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language
    • Fluent in English.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
