About this Position

We are seeking a skilled Clinician to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services to children and youth. Job Description

This is a regular full-time temporary position until February 28th, 2026, with the possibility of becoming permanent. The successful candidate will be required to work a hybrid schedule, with up to two days per week working from home subject to an approved telework agreement.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide direct clinical services to children, youth, families, and communities throughout the province
  • Assess community capacity and work collaboratively within complex systems of care to optimize existing resources
  • Deliver trauma-informed and culturally sensitive services to reduce the impact of trauma and empower support networks

To be successful in this role, you must have a Master's degree in Counselling, Social Work, Educational Counselling, Clinical Counselling, Clinical Psychology, or Child and Youth Care, or a comparable graduate degree at the Master's level in a similar subject. You must also possess a valid class 5 BC Driver's license with no restriction or equivalent.

Please note that preference may be given to applicants with five years or more experience working with children and youth with moderate to severe and enduring mental health challenges.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Masters degree in relevant field
  • Valid class 5 BC Driver's license
  • Minimum one year full-time equivalent experience working with children and youth and their families

Prior experience working with children and youth with moderate to severe and enduring mental health challenges is highly desirable. Please refer to the Job Profile for the full list of willingness/proviso requirements.

The estimated salary range for this position is $85,563.25 - $97,633.20 annually, which includes a 4 Grid Temporary Market Adjustment. Flexible work options are available, and an eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
