Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Child and Youth Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary clinical treatment team at Vancouver Coastal Health.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $300,000 - $400,000 per year, depending on experience. As a Child and Youth Psychiatrist, you will provide direct assessments for patients/clients/families and work with various program areas within the North Shore, including community, acute, and tertiary services.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' mental health needs and develop treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care
  • Participate in teaching residents and medical students through a clinical faculty appointment with the University of British Columbia
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)
  • A Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership
  • A Full College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) license
