About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at B. S. Gill Construction LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in all aspects of carpentry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and layout building sites in accordance with building codes and regulations, using precision measuring tools.
  • Cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel, to create precise and durable structures.
  • Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure seamless integration with existing structures.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial properties, including wooden structures in various settings, such as mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient project execution and high-quality results.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
  • English language proficiency as the primary language of communication.
  • Ability to work 30-40 hours per week in a fast-paced construction environment.
