About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at GHBRAR CARPENTRY LTD. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction of buildings, structures, and other projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-construction planning: Prepare detailed layouts and designs for construction projects, taking into account building codes and regulations.
  • Material selection and preparation: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
  • Installation and finishing: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, ensuring a high level of precision and attention to detail.
  • Site surveying and supervision: Conduct site surveys to ensure accurate measurements and levels, and supervise other workers to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Cost estimation and management: Estimate costs and materials required for projects, and manage budgets to ensure projects are completed within allocated resources.

  • Cultural competency training: Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
