Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and layout building materials in accordance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
  • Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a seamless and professional finish.
  • Conduct site surveys and level checks to ensure accurate measurements and layouts.
  • Supervise and lead a team of workers to ensure efficient and effective project completion.
  • Estimate costs and materials to ensure accurate project planning and execution.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial properties to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to ensure effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work at heights.
