We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at A TO Z FINISHING & CARPENTRY LTD. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction and renovation of residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and layout building materials in accordance with building codes and regulations.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
- Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a seamless and professional finish.
- Conduct site surveys and level checks to ensure accurate measurements and layouts.
- Supervise and lead a team of workers to ensure efficient and effective project completion.
- Estimate costs and materials to ensure accurate project planning and execution.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial properties to the highest standards.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to ensure effective collaboration with colleagues and clients.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work at heights.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
- Large workload with multiple projects and deadlines.
