Heavy Duty Equipment Technician

Park-Aid Asphalt and Maintenance Ltd is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty equipment, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
About the RoleThis is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. As a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, you will be working at our asphalt and maintenance facilities, performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and making repairs as needed.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- Diagnose faults or malfunctionalities using computerized and other testing equipment
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
- Keep maintenance reports and documentation up-to-date
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure work meets manufacturers' specifications
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work
- Perform repair work on heavy trucks
- Service attachments and working tools
- Perform other routine maintenance tasks
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in diesel engine repair specialization, including fuel injection systems, exhaust systems, cooling systems, air conditioning systems, lubrication systems, and engine control systems.
Additional Requirements- Valid driver's license
