Heavy Duty Truck Driver

We are looking for a skilled Heavy Duty Truck Driver to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country.
About the RoleThis is a hands-on position that requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail. You will be working closely with our operations team to ensure timely delivery of goods and provide exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a valid Class 1 or A driver's license and a clean driving record. Previous experience in long haul trucking is an asset, but not required.
Responsibilities- Loading and unloading goods from trucks;
- Inspecting vehicles regularly to ensure they are in good working condition;
- Performing routine maintenance tasks such as brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs;
- Conducting pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure safety standards are met;
- Recording cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption;
- Valid Class 1 or A driver's license;
- Clean driving record;
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Possession of a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
- Previous experience in long haul trucking an asset;
$85,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
