About the Role

The AIM Group is seeking a highly skilled Technical Data Lead to facilitate the delivery of an Insurance Accounting Standards project. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to implement the new standard and perform tandem testing to validate results.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Leadership: Provide overall accountability for the technical success of the project, ensuring that all technical aspects are properly addressed and implemented.
  2. Design and Development: Ensure that logical and physical designs are created and implemented, and lead technical teams to develop solutions that meet business requirements.
  3. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teams and vendors to ensure that all stakeholders are informed and aligned with project progress and requirements.
  4. Quality Assurance: Responsible for reviewing and supporting the development of requirements and business processes, and ensuring that all solutions meet quality standards.
  5. Project Planning and Execution: Assist in project planning, quality assurance planning, and support planning, and ensure that all project deliverables are met.
  6. Documentation and Compliance: Responsible for documenting and raising deviations from architecture direction, and ensuring that all solutions comply with applicable standards.
  7. Testing and Deployment: Lead technical investigations to ensure quality of solutions and to optimize platforms, and responsible for the deployment of solutions to non-production and production environments.
  8. Knowledge Management: Lead the transition of solutions to operations/support, including participating in the certification of the solution by architecture, and ensure that all knowledge and documentation are up-to-date.
  9. Strategic Planning: In conjunction with the SAS Tech Lead, lead strategic planning to achieve goals within timelines by identifying and prioritizing development initiatives.
Requirements
  1. Technical Skills: Proficient in application data integration and data management and processing, with knowledge of tools such as SAS EG/Viya and SAS Visual Analytics.
  2. Experience: Solid SaaS implementation experience, preferably with SAS products, and experience with system design, application setup and configuration.
  3. Cloud Infrastructure: Experienced with cloud infrastructure knowledge and workflow and business process analysis.
  4. DevOps Mindset: Balances product features and needs with a Minimum Viable Product approach, and has a DevOps mindset and programming skills.
