Job Summary

Tim Hortons #889 is seeking an experienced Restaurant Operations Assistant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, and meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Conduct performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and provide coaching to staff.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to optimize costs and quality.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a restaurant operations or management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate staff.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
