Job Summary:

Donna Cona Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects across Nunavut. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning, project management, and budgeting for municipal water and wastewater projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Collaborate with municipal stakeholders to design and implement water and wastewater solutions that meet community needs.
  • Manage contractors and consultants throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide regular project status reports to clients, highlighting progress and any challenges.
  • Work with consultants to ensure installations and designs meet industry standards and client requirements.
  • Manage contract documentation and approvals in eBuilder, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Demonstrate expertise in water and wastewater systems, including planning, design, and construction administration.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with municipal stakeholders, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet client expectations and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license with a minimum of 10 years of relevant management experience.
  • Strong technical understanding of water and wastewater systems.
  • Experience in planning, preliminary design, detailed design, and construction administration associated with water and/or wastewater infrastructure.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and stakeholders.
