Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Experience Business Analyst to join our team at Georgian College. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and facilitating business process improvement initiatives to enhance institutional efficiency, effectiveness, and capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and present proposals and business plans on various issues related to information technology, including problem identification, costs, benefits, and options.
  • Conduct needs analysis, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analysis of requests for applications, information systems, or related applications.
  • Plan, design, acquire, and implement new or changed administrative/digital experience systems software.
  • Elicit business and system requirements through interviews, group meetings, workshops, and job shadowing.
  • Document analysis, use cases, and scenarios, and develop workflow and process flow diagrams.
  • Provide direction and hands-on expertise for business process analysis and design.
  • Provide advice, training, and support to staff on system software.
  • Make high-level contacts with discretion and diplomacy to negotiate with or persuade officials to adopt proposed solutions.
  • Interact with faculty, students, and staff at all levels of the organization.

Requirements

  • 2-year postsecondary diploma/degree in Business, Computer Studies, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of related or progressive experience in a similar role.
  • Designation in Process Improvement (Lean Management, 6 Sigma) or PMP (Project Management Professional).
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is an asset.
  • Experience in facilitating, developing, and implementing business process redesign projects.
  • Experience in project management and group facilitation.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
