The Senior Business Analyst position at Ilssimcoe is a key role that involves collaborating with organizational leaders and stakeholders to understand business objectives, gather requirements, and define scope for new initiatives and projects. The successful candidate will provide financial reporting and data analysis to support organizational and ministry financials, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and standardized accounting practices. Additionally, the Senior Business Analyst will continuously review financial processes and procedures to ensure efficiency, safeguard financial assets, and maintain legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Reporting: Provide the Director of Safeguard & Administration with timely and accurate financial reporting and data analysis on organizational and ministry financials.
  2. Business Intelligence: Identify financial process improvement opportunities and recommend courses of action to enhance operational efficiency.
  3. Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, interpret, and analyze financial data to inform business decisions and drive strategic initiatives.
  4. Organizational Support: Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs, support comprehensive business planning, and track organizational expenses.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role, preferably in a non-profit organization.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Personal Attributes: Adaptable, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong passion for numbers and ensuring accuracy and detail in work.
Working Conditions:
  • Location: Hybrid work arrangement (3 days in office) available.
  • Hours: Full-time, with occasional evening or weekend work required for special events or needs.
Salary:

Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
