Contractor Service Representative

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contractor Service Representative to support our contract personnel in Calgary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the onboarding process for contract personnel, including paperwork, scheduling background checks, and guiding contractors through orientation.
  • Provide support to field staff, primarily contract workers, in submitting timesheets and managing expense reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
  • Deliver training and ongoing assistance to contractors on company systems and processes, including Fieldglass.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases for contract personnel, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Perform general administrative duties, such as managing contractor inquiries, handling mail, and supporting payroll and time collection processes.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues, ensuring efficient workflows for contract personnel and office staff.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain processes clearly and effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in an administrative, customer service, or contractor support role is preferred.
  • Willingness to develop within the role; we are open to training candidates with a complementary background.
