Job Summary

Johnson Service Group (Internal Careers) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contractor Support Specialist to join our team in Calgary. This role is pivotal in supporting our contract personnel with onboarding, timesheet management, and troubleshooting system-related issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Onboarding and Support: Assist with the onboarding process for contract personnel, including paperwork, scheduling background checks, and guiding contractors through orientation.
  • Timesheet Management: Provide support to field staff, primarily contract workers, in submitting timesheets and managing expense reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
  • Training and Development: Deliver training and ongoing assistance to contractors on company systems and processes, including Fieldglass.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records and databases for contract personnel, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Administrative Support: Perform general administrative duties, such as managing contractor inquiries, handling mail, and supporting payroll and time collection processes.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve operational issues, ensuring efficient workflows for contract personnel and office staff.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain processes clearly and effectively.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Independence and Initiative: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in an administrative, customer service, or contractor support role is preferred.
