Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Representative to join our team at Startec Compression & Process and Startec Service. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth by combining technical expertise and sales skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings to provide innovative solutions to customers.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to develop customized solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Prepare accurate quotes and proposals based on customer specifications and project requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including contractors, consultants, and facility managers.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value and benefits of industrial refrigeration solutions.

Requirements:

  • Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic or equivalent with experience in recreational and ammonia service gas field experience or both.
  • Minimum 5+ years of working experience in the trades industry.
  • Minimum 3+ years of working experience in a customer service or sales capacity role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and products.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
