Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

At CB Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in supporting the company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and coaching to leaders and team members on progressive discipline, performance management, and policy application.
  • Manage the employment life cycle, including hiring, transfers, layoffs, and exit procedures.
  • Support manpower planning, training matrices, and auditing training compliance.
  • Respond to concerns and conduct thorough workplace investigations.
  • Work with leaders to resolve disputes and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Update HRIS and other related systems, and create ad-hoc reports.
  • Collaborate with payroll to complete employment administration requirements.
  • Advocate for the Employee Charter, Open Door process, and other company initiatives.
  • Recommend and update HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate in projects and perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or certificate in Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing and/or automotive environment.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office products, ATS, and HRIS systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work overtime and flexible hours to meet internal/external customer requirements.
  • Ability to work in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Ability to work independently and with all levels within the organization.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
