Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Counselor to join our team at Vancouver General Hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience working in healthcare settings and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care
  • Conduct social and psychosocial assessments to identify patients' needs
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to address patients' needs
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
Qualifications
  • Master of Social Work degree from an accredited institution
  • At least one year of post-graduate experience in a healthcare setting
  • Current registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is CAD $42.27/Hr. - CAD $52.81/Hr. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including MSP, extended health and dental, and municipal pension plan. Additionally, we provide opportunities for professional development and growth.
