Your responsibilities will include orienting guards to their roles, assisting in tracking and deployment of security staff, monitoring and operating command centre systems, and collaborating with the Security Coordinator on special projects. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for orienting guards to their respective roles
  • Assist in tracking and deployment of security staff
  • Monitor and operate numerous command centre systems
  • Make emergency overhead announcements
  • Collaborate with the Security Coordinator on special projects
  • Assist in training new staff
  • Answer Telephones and dispatch calls from command centre
  • Handle a variety of dispatch duties
  • Liaise with security staff, Paladin Operations Centre, and assist with deployment
  • Liaise with visitors, clients, and staff
  • Manage Lost & Found
  • Manage the issuance and return of facility keys and ID/Access cards
  • Issue Visitor and Contractor badges

Requirements:
  1. A Valid Ontario Security Guard License
  2. Proficient in English (both oral and written)
  3. Degree in Police Foundations, Protection Security and Investigations, Criminology, or Border Services Preferred
  4. Proof of double Covid Vaccination
  5. Immunization Record (measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and TB skin tests 1 and 2)
  6. Valid First Aid and CPR Level C Certification
  7. Valid G class Driver License
  8. Experience working in a command or dispatch Centre would be an asset
