About the Role

We are currently seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team of insurance professionals. This role will be based on-site, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and service commercial accounts, providing expert advice on coverage options
  • Review renewals with clients, offering personalized recommendations to ensure optimal coverage
  • Assist clients with their day-to-day inquiries, delivering exceptional customer service
  • Explore opportunities to write new business through referrals, driving growth and expansion
  • Develop and maintain relationships with insurance companies, promoting existing accounts and identifying new opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, ensuring a deep understanding of insurance market knowledge and wordings
Requirements
  • A Registered Insurance Broker License (RIBO)
  • Knowledge of Commercial Property & Casualty, Commercial Auto, and Farm Insurance
  • Completed or enrolled in the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) courses would be an asset
  • College Insurance Program Diploma or an undergraduate degree is an asset
  • Strong customer service skills to build lasting relationships and drive retention
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
  • A positive attitude with a strong work ethic, embodying the values of Morison Insurance Brokers Inc.
