Job Title: Commercial Insurance Account ManagerPosition Responsibilities:
  • Manage and service commercial accounts
  • Review renewals with clients, providing coverage recommendations
  • Assist clients with day-to-day inquiries
  • Opportunities to write new business through referrals
  • Market existing accounts to insurance companies
  • Develop insurance market knowledge to understand risk placement
  • Understand wordings and coverages to compare insurance policies and quotes
Requirements:
  • A Registered Insurance Broker License (RIBO)
  • Knowledge in Commercial Property & Casualty, Commercial Auto, and Farm Insurance
  • Completed, enrolled or interested in the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) courses would be an asset
  • College Insurance Program Diploma or an undergraduate degree is an asset
  • Strong customer service skills to build relationships and maintain long-term growth and retention
  • Excellent organizational, planning and prioritizing skills
  • A positive attitude with a strong work ethic
